Requirements
macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel.
Three ways to get it
Directly. Payment is handled by Polar, which acts as the reseller and takes care of sales tax. After paying, Polar emails you a download link and your license key. Open Sticktop, paste the key when it asks, and you are set; one key works on up to three Macs. The app updates itself, and you can download it again and see your key at any time in Polar's customer portal.
On the Mac App Store. Apple handles payment, downloads and updates.
On Setapp. Sticktop is included in a Setapp subscription, and Setapp handles payment, downloads and updates. A purchase in one place does not unlock the others.
Privacy
Sticktop has no accounts and no tracking. Backgrounds are removed on your Mac, so the images you turn into stickers never leave it. Full details are in the privacy policy.

- Sticktop is $4.99, a one-time purchase, with no subscription, either on the Mac App Store or bought directly through Polar. It is also included in a Setapp subscription.
- Can I use Sticktop on more than one Mac?
- Yes. A license key bought directly works on up to 3 Macs. The Mac App Store version installs on any Mac signed in with the Apple Account that bought it.
- How do I enter my license key?
- Click the Sticktop icon in the menu bar and choose Enter License, or go to Settings, General, License. Paste the key from your Polar receipt email.
- How do updates work?
- Bought directly, the app updates itself. From the Mac App Store, updates come through the App Store. Either way, new versions are included with your purchase.
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. Backgrounds are removed on your Mac, so your images never leave it. Sticktop has no accounts and no tracking.
